Last night I ended up taking my friend Jennifer back to Provo where she was staying with another friend. We had some time to waste and she asked me to take her on a tour of Brigham Young University's (BYU) campus. She had never seen the campus let alone walked on it. It was 10:30pm when we started our tour. We were so loud and laughing the entire time. I was taken back to many memories as I walked the sidewalks I have walked MANY times. I thought of the classes I had, the stresses, the friends, the dates, the good times, the bad times, the every day times. I felt like I was 50 taking my family back to my old stomping grounds as I talked about each building and pointed out some that didn't even exist when I went to school there. I didn't enjoy the feeling old part but reliving memories was quite enjoyable. I am amazed at how many emotions came back as I wandered those sidewalks and buildings. I honestly do miss the good old college days. The stress and hardships get clouded over with the feelings of succes and happiness and fun. Those were good times that will always remain a light down my memory lane.
