Daily Miracles

I am constantly amazed at the daily miracles that I experience and most likely take for granted. This week I have noticed many miracles and have no doubt others occurred that were not as apparent.

Miracle #1: At this point in the year, complete silence is a miracle in a Middle School Classroom. Not only did I experience it Monday through Wednesday with the students taking the CRTs but also Thursday with some finished and Friday with many finished and most working on missing work. I prayed every morning for miracles and know that I was given this one.

Miracle #2: I have been stressed and excited all week about our monthly service project that I took control of. We volunteered to make and serve dinner at the Ronald McDonald House (a house for families of family members checked into hospitals in the Salt Lake area who spend most of their days in the hospital without many "good" meals) Thursday night. I sent around sign-ups for food and was very grateful for so many willing to help and even do more if needed. Some couldn't even make it Thursday but still wanted to help. I worried all week that we wouldn't have enough food or enough help or enough whatever, but when the day finally came everything fell into place. I credit it all to the wonderful ward members who offered their support and service. Service alone is a miracle but this working out as well as it did was an even bigger one for me.

Miracle #3: One of the greatest miracles of my life that I continue to be amazed by is being surrounded by so many wonderful people who bless my life every day and witness to me again and again that there is a God and He is my Father and He loves me very much.

Miracle #4: My Savior, Jesus Christ's, Atonement which makes it possible for me to keep on keeping on. He suffered for my sins and stupid mistakes as well as the pains and sufferings I experience. He is my true friend who understands me in everything I go through. He is the greatest miracle!
