That is really what the blog title should say to be completely Russian. It means goodbye. I can't say that I know much Russian but I have taught myself the alphabet and a few phrases. When I get back I plan to know A LOT more!! I do have 14 hours on a plane to utilize...and that is just getting there. :)
Anyway, last night I invited pretty much everyone I know within a reasonable distance to come over so that I could have a hug and a smile before I leave. I was shocked by the great reception and more importantly all the love. I HAVE THE MOST AMAZING FRIENDS IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!!! I couldn't be anymore blessed. Thank you everyone who came. I wish I could have had more personal time with each of you. I felt somewhat like The Bachelor at the week's cocktail party...only my house was full of boys and girls...I had a house full of people all wanting to see and talk to me yet I can only give so much time to each one.
Moral of the story, I am humbled. I don't know how I got so blessed to know so many of the finest people. I have amazing examples all around me. As I looked around my full house, I was amazed at the caliber of people surrounding me. I didn't get pictures with everyone but here are a few of the people I love!!
These people are the reason I am having a hard time leaving. The adventure will be fantastic. Losing four months with my friends...not so fantastic.

Kara, the reason you have such amazing friends is you are so amazing yourself! You are wonderful. I am very excited for you but will miss you terribly!! Good thing for modern technology that will allow us to still be close when you're a world away! Love you!!
