I decided for many reasons I needed to chop my hair off:
1. It grows VERY fast and I would rather not have to get it cut in Russia
2. Because of the COLD weather in Russia and the Babushkas who yell at you if you are not wearing a hat, I will be wearing hats daily and my fro doesn't look that great after being flattened
3. I would like to avoid having to use a blow dryer after being recommended to not take one and if needed buy one there yet I don't know if I'll find one to fit my diffuser (for those who are curly hair inept, this is an attachment to dry curly hair)
So after much debate, because I really like my long-time style (and I'll be honest, I actually miss it already), I finally did it.
I've found that I have the same hair as actress, Keri Russell, and even similar bone structure so I looked to her for styles.

It looks great and you'll enjoy it while you're in Russia! One good thing about hair is it grows so we can do a bunch of things to it and it's never be permanent!
