I had my first experiences of substitute teaching this week. What adventures lie ahead!
Wednesday: Half day sub of a 5th/6th split class. First time in an elementary school. Big class. Few crazies. Got to teach math. Not used to keeping the same students entertained all day. Fire Drill. Good experience.
Thursday: Day one subbing Middle School Girl's PE. Didn't think to be outside all day. Flag football with 7th/8th/9th grade girls. Female drama. One student claiming to almost pass out. Few disputes over scores. Fried skin. Very exhausting.
