Labor Day Weekend

I am a little slow getting these pictures posted but they are too beautiful to not. My wonderful Mom called me Friday morning and said, 'I miss you, Come Home.' That was all it took for me to realize that I had no definite plans and could very easily go home and enjoy my parents for the long weekend. I AM SO GRATEFUL I DID!

We spent Saturday shopping and walking around Jackson. Then ending our trip with a meal at Bubba's (my first time there). I have not been to Jackson for so long it was nice to enjoy the tourism. The day ended with watching the amazing BYU vs. Oklahoma football game. The evening couldn't have been better! What a game! (I didn't take any pictures in Jackson...sorry.)

On Monday, my parents appeased me by taking me up to Cottonwood Lake to go canoeing. Dad did a little fishing while I attempted to keep the boat where he wanted it to be. My poor arms are definitely not used to rowing a boat. The lake was so beautiful and Dad even caught six fish...he put them all back, of coarse. We all enjoyed a picnic lunch on the shore and just loved the day. Somehow even in a sweatshirt and overcast weather I can still manage to get a sunburn. But nothing could have ruined the day! Thanks Mom and Dad!
