Ang was able to inherit a kitchen table from her Aunt
but we didn't have chairs. One of my favorite moments was our first Sunday here eating Sunday dinner. Ang sat in her rocking chair pulled up to the table, I sat on my big blue exercise ball, and Olivia sat on a big tupperware tub. It was quite the site. We continued in this manner for almost a week. We looked for chairs on our Labor Day furniture adventure but couldn't find anything that was a decent price. Most chairs came with a table as a set.So last Thursday...instead of lesson planning...Ang and I went out again to see what
we could find. We went to Walmart and Home Depot since we had already been to Target, DI, and other furniture stores. We were VERY frustrated and couldn't think of anywhere else we could go. I decided then that I would start my own business called
Just Chairs! There are always times you are in need of a chair and no particular store comes to mind. Just Chairs! would be the perfect solution.Anyway, we decided to try Ikea one more time and we were actually successful! We found cute chairs and pads...to save having s
ore behinds. We came home and immediately put them together and set them up. Our kitchen now looks so cute AND we can all eat normally together AND even invite one friend. YAY for things coming together.
