I had the blessing of spending some quality time with many of my EFY friends this weekend. Davis invited us to his family's cabin to have the opportunity to leave reality and stress behind. And we did. We all arrived throughout the evening on Friday, roasted hot dogs for dinner (which Matt and Jazon overdid by bringing 84 of), played Quelf (one of my favorite board games), and just enjoyed each other's company. It was good to catch up with many I haven't seen in a while and just be together. We got so close this summer and I am so glad we are able to get together every so often. I was very entertained playing Quelf, which is the whole point. It is the most random game where you
have to do the most random stuff and you really don't even care who wins. It just gives everyone a chance to get out of their shell, do stupid things, and laugh. And I thought it was funny when it was the guys who stayed up all night talking while the girls went to bed.On Saturday, everyone slept in...except of course me who can't sleep in. I got up and helped Davis' mom and sister with breakfast. After breakfast we hiked up Stewart Falls. It was actually hotter than I thought as we were hiking but it was beautiful. We made it to the Falls quite quickly and enjoyed the misty breeze. I wanted to stand in the water just under the falls so I gave my
camera to Jenna to take a picture. I didn't realize that just that little bit more in would put me right under the falls. I was drenched!! And it was freezing!! Dan followed my lead and got a shower as well. It was quite fun. Although I wasn't thinking it was as much fun five hours later when I was still wet and cold! After the hike we ate lunch and played on a little playgound. Many had already left but some were trying to enjoy as much as possible. Finally, I realized I needed to get back for the General Relief Society Meeting so we took off too. It was a nice relaxing weekend. I was reminded of being at home and LOVED being in the mountains! God has made this world beautiful and I love to enjoy it!

How fun! I love EFYers!
I was wondering what Cabin Clumping was (I read about it on your Facebook page.) It now makes a lot more sense.
