Feng Shui...My Need for Ch'i

I recently moved with two new roommates into a new place for all of us. All three of us are poor teachers and have been the roommate with nothing except our bedroom furniture. This is a little less than beneficial when settling into a new home. We quickly acquired and needed items like kitchen utensils, garbage cans, cleaning supplies, broom, etc. But our living conditions have not been ideal. Our living room is still without furniture and for a good few days our kitchen table had no chairs. We also lived almost a week without cable and internet being told by the local companies that they don't provide services in our area. We have experienced many frustrations and still feel unsettled. I am a firm believer in Feng Shui and have to have things in place and organized to feel my Ch'i so that I can focus on other things. I have struggled with my seminary lessons because I spend so much time finding my Ch'i. But things are coming along.

On Monday we utilized the Labor Day sales in search of furniture. We were very optimistic and excited. We started out at RC Willey where we fell in love with a couch and chair, but we weren't ready to just settle on it. We continued looking at many other places and tried out many fun couches and chairs. I liked to find the most unique pieces because I seem to be attracted to those. After only a couple of hours we were already exhausted and slightly discouraged. We ended up going back to RC Willey for the original couch after realizing our front room is not large enough for the couch and the chair but the couch is on back order and we may not have it for another couple of weeks. At least we enjoyed ourselves while shopping.
