My Miracle Choir

Two weeks ago I was blessed to be in charge of the Musical Program for the week. The Musical Program is a sequence of hymns put together with speaking parts that all teach and testify of Christ. The youth who want to participate give up all their lunches (they get lunch first then come to practice) and free time to learn the parts. I listened to everything ahead of time and got an idea of where I wanted solos and group numbers and such. Then we had two days to have auditions and put everything together. The whole time I was so impressed with the abilities of the youth and so grateful for all who came to be a part of my choir. I fell in love with this wonderful group.

On Thursday, the day of the performance, I was thinking about my choir and thought to myself that they are my angels. Then I started thinking about the Heavenly Choir who sung in the coming of Christ. The parallel hit me as I realized that my Miracle Choir was also a Heavenly Choir and would be singing in the coming of Christ to the hearts of many...maybe even their own. I shared that with them and we had a beautiful moment together. My heart is full of love for these amazing youth and their talents and testimonies. I have taken ownership to the Musical Program and get sad to watch it and not be in charge of it. The Lord is in every part of this work. There is power in music and I am grateful I got to be a part of my miracle choir for that week.
