My wonderful parents have chosen to serve as missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (also known as the Mormons and more info about us can be found here). They just arrived or will soon arrive in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Africa! They will be serving to continue and grow the Perpetual Education program. I am so proud of their decision to serve the Lord and spread His love. They will be missed very much by many but I know they will bless the lives of even more there. I can't lie and say that it will be easy to have them so far away. I have done my far share of crying this weekend. But the Lord has blessed me with peace and I absolutely KNOW this is where they need to be and they will be protected and blessed. If anyone is interested in following their adventures, they have started their own blog and we all hope they keep it somewhat updated (they can't be any worse than me with updates). I love them so much and am more than honored to be their daughter!
