My Last Minute Decision

I woke up yesterday still undecided about my weekend plans.

The Options:
Camping at Bear Lake with my Stake or Sitting at Home Reading

The Concern:
Sleeping on the flat ground when I still can't sleep painless on a comfortable bed

The Solution:
Enjoy the evening activities with friends at Bear Lake then drive home to my parent's and sleep in my own bed then get up to enjoy the morning celebrating the 100th anniversary celebration of our Tabernacle (the church of my entire childhood)

The Reality:
A great evening setting up the tent, enjoying Bear Lake's famous raspberry shakes, steak dinner with the stake, a concert put on by Daniel Beck, smores by the fire, and a safe drive home.
Followed by a fun morning hearing my dad play the trombone (I am so proud of him, I had no idea he still knew how to play), supporting other community members in their performances, and LOVING being with my parents.

Regrets of my Decision:
ABSOLUTELY NONE!!!

holy cow! My sis went to bear lake with her ward too! She must be in your stake! She lives near costco in Murray I think. That isn't your ward is it? that would be funny. ;) anyways, they had steak dinner and the like too! :) small world when you are mormon!

Great choice!!!! It sounds perfect! I wish I could have seen Dad play his trombone, that would have been worth the trip!
