Life doesn't get much better than getting to watch So You Think You Can Dance live AND from the 2nd row!!!!!!!!! This year the format of the show was different than past years. Instead of the dancers talking in between and introducing each dance, the dancing never stopped! They danced so many more group routines that were new and built right into the dances we grew to love over the season.
The night started out at IHOP for dinner.
Then finding our 2nd row seats and being so excited to literally see the sweat coming off the faces of the dancers.
And the show began...
At intermission this group of kids gave up their own show and literally had the entire audience on their feet trying to watch them. We, of course, had perfect seats even for their show.
The second half of the show was just as amazing as the first.
AND, I was so very excited during the VERY first routine to see that Nick, the tapper who I was in love with and got cut the second week of the show, was on tour!! LOVE HIM!!!!
Then, like always, we bundled up after the show to wait outside and meet the dancers. We were told early on that they weren't coming out this year because it was too cold. But it had been colder in years past and we were determined to meet them. However after 2 long, cold hours we watched their busses pull away with the shades drawn down and no desire to meet their fans. Not impressed!!
But it didn't ruin the fact that the show was amazing. And I will still continue watching and being one of the biggest fans! I LOVE SYTYCD!!!!!!
