We are two weeks into the new school year and I am in need of this three-day weekend! My body is not used to such early mornings...getting up at 5:30am...and my mind is not used to learning so many names AND two new subjects all at the same time. Yikes!
Thank goodness my students are fantastic! So far, they are willing to try for me but I need to be doing more for them to help them understand...especially now that the math is getting a little more complicated. We ended on a bit of a rough note this last week because I have not discovered how to get through all the necessary material with still feeling like each student understands.
I have to keep reminding myself that it's a good thing I am challenged because that is the only way I will grow and not get bored with my job.
I can already tell this school year is going to fly by and there is both good and bad to that. I just really want it to be a successful one for my students. Here's to continual growth on my part!
