An Adventure with a Moral

Today for Sunday dinner I made Ang and I french toast with strawberries and cool whip. It was delicious. As we were finishing, I asked, 'What I am going to do with the rest of this cool whip?' Ang gave the greatest answer that was the beginning of a great Sunday adventure, 'Make cookies.' I had no idea you could make cookies with cool whip. In fact, there are only three ingredients; a cake mix, half a tub of cool whip, and one egg. I was a little skeptical but curious. We threw the ingredients in a bowl and I tried to mix them together. It was hard to get completely mixed so I took off my ring and dove in. It was the craziest consistency for cookies ever!I did get them mixed even though I had to wash half the dough off my hands because I couldn't get it off any other way...besides licking it. :)Ang jumped in to roll it into balls and then roll them in powder sugar. As she threw them in the bowl of powdered sugar she made the comment that they looked like little balls of poop (sorry for the colorfulness) and I said that is why we cover them in sugar. So here is the moral, When life seems completely poopy, roll it in sugar! :)We baked them at 350 degrees for 10 minutes and were excited to test them. SUCCESS!!! Delicious!
