Here's the story...I had the hardest day of coming back yet. My lack of sleep and overworking got to me and I was barely functioning. All day I was looking forward to 7:30pm coming along so I could go home. Of course, because I was so ready to go home (with everything shut down and cleaned up...which I don't normally have ready by 7:30), I had one student who wasn't picked up on time. So I had to sit and wait with her for almost 20 minutes. At this point, I was dying. My bed was calling and I was quickly losing my patience. All I could think about during my drive home was how nice it will be to spend some quality time with my bed. I walked to our front door and unlocked it...the normal routine...I opened the door and found Ang and Jon laughing hysterically. I totally walked in RIGHT after Jon popped the question! I'm now grateful my student's parents were late. It could have been even more awkward to get home earlier.
Sorry I don't have a picture of the two of them.
Regardless, I am SOOOOO excited for Ang. She has been a much needed friend to me for a long time. We met before my mission at BYU where we had a class together. She was a much needed friend then and has continued to be so. I can't express how grateful I am that the Lord allowed our paths to cross again AND again so that we would be friends for life. Ang and Jon, I wish you the best!! I love you guys!
Sorry I don't have a picture of the two of them.

Congrats to Ang! And thank goodness for small miracles like parents being late, to help you avoid REALLY awkward moments :)
